　　世界杯期間，不少人都熬夜看球了吧;考試前夕，很多同學會熬夜復習吧。隨著工作學習壓力的增大、娛樂生活內容的豐富，現代人似乎越來越習慣于熬夜了。可是熬夜多少會影響身體健康以及第二天的精神狀態，所以大家還是要盡量避免熬夜哦~今天我們來看一些句子，學習其中關于“熬夜”的各種地道說法吧。
　　1.stay up熬夜
　　eg：I want to stay up tonight and watch the late show.今晚我不想睡覺，等著看深夜電視節目。

　　2.Burn the midnight oil (熬夜)
　　以前的人都是用油燈來照明，如果有人在深夜時分燃點燈油，即表示那個人仍在努力的埋頭苦干?，F今，我們已不會再燃點油燈，但是這意思依然保留下來，因而有Burn the midnight oil這個成語的出現。Burn the midnightoil是指通宵達旦地工作，亦即是我們所謂的開夜車。要Burn the midnight oil的時候，實在是一件令人勞累的事，那么，大家就要小心身體了!

　　3.相關成語Pull an all nighter
　　與Burn the midnight oil的意思相通。如：Teachers do not encourage students to pull an all nighterfor exams. They should pay attention during lessons.”(老師不會鼓勵學生在試前才溫書至深夜，他們應該上課時專心聽書才對。)
